What brokers weigh, before they call you

Your CSA scores

Five public categories, measured against every carrier in the country. Over FMCSA's line (the 65th percentile) is the flag brokers check first.

Your authority & insurance

Active or not. Filed or not. A cancellation already sitting in the file with a future date — the automatic pass in most broker systems.

Your linked record

A prior revocation, a shared officer or address with a dead company — identity systems match on threads. Your card shows the link if the file has one.

How it works

1. Type the number

DOT or MC. No account, no email — the record is public, the check is free.

2. Read your card

Scores, flags, your top violations, and your first three fixes — every number stamped with the date of the federal file it came from.

3. Fix what's flagged

Wrong records come off through DataQs. Bad filings get corrected. Clean inspections and time do the rest. The Fix Kit walks every step.

Questions

Is the checker really free?

Yes — the full report card, no sign-up, no email. Free checkers stay free here; the paid product is the Fix Kit, and it sells the fix, not the look.

Where does the record come from?

FMCSA's public files: the company census, the monthly safety measurement run, and the Motus authority and insurance filings. Every card is stamped with its file dates. The method page names every file.

How old is the data?

Registration and insurance filings refresh daily; the safety scores refresh with FMCSA's monthly run. Your card prints the exact stamp of every file it read — if a refresh cycle is ever missed, the card says so in plain words instead of showing a stale record quietly.

I'm a driver, not a company. Is this my score?

No — CSA scores belong to companies. Drivers have a separate record (PSP). The honest split is explained on CSA scores for drivers.

My number isn't found. Why?

This checker carries carriers with federal operating authority or a federal safety record. Brand-new registrations can take a few days to appear in FMCSA's files; pure intrastate records with no federal filing aren't in these files.
